Real Estate business owner Gaven Whalley has been in real estate for the past 15 years and started One Agency North Haven on the Mid-North Coast of NSW almost three years ago.
He saw One Agency Kempsey and instantly liked the striking yet simple branding of the real estate business.
“As a long term local, the One Agency business model really fitted into my area. I liked the classy brand and the low fees. The fact that there aren’t too many constraints was also a big selling point for me,” says Gaven.
Gaven had owned two First National offices and sold them before starting up his One Agency business.
Prior to joining, Gaven was almost fully committed to opening an independent agency, but the One Agency model made it so much easier than starting everything from scratch.
“The set-up was really simple and the One Agency head office team were so helpful. It really only took a month to set everything up and we still managed to list and sell a couple of properties in the first month. Paul was also really great to deal with.”
He had great support from the other One Agency members and also utilised the closed Facebook group to share ideas and find out what other offices were doing to grow their businesses.
His previous experience with another franchise had been costly and restrictive and so the One Agency business model was an appealing and simple alternative.

“The signs, artwork and designs were so good, I know I couldn’t have done a better job myself. The brand really stands out amongst our competitors, people seem to call our signs more than our competitors signs. We are even being called the Orange Agents!”
